AUTISM AND PDD RESOURCES

    • Autism Society of Texas changes lives by connecting families and individuals to community resources and support throughout Texas. Offerings include advocacy, education events, Information & Referrals, support meetings; on-line networking opportunities; Sensory Friendly films; and fun family activities. We rely on donations to support our work and keep services free for families and autistic adults.

DYSLEXIA

EARLY CHILDHOOD

    • Early Childhood Intervention (ECI) Texas is a statewide program within the Texas Health and Human Services Commission for families with children birth up to age 3, with developmental delays, disabilities or certain medical diagnoses that may impact development. ECI services support families as they learn how to help their children grow and learn.

LEARNING DISABILITIES

    • Learning Disabilities Association (LDA) aims to create opportunities for success for all individuals affected by learning disabilities through support, education, and advocacy.
    • Learning Disabilities Association of Texas LDATX  has a Resource Directory to provide access to professional resources to support, inform, and empower individuals with LD/ADHD throughout the lifespan.
    • National Center for Learning Disabilities (NCLD) improves the lives of the 1 in 5 with learning and attention issues by empowering parents and young adults, transforming schools, and advocating for equal rights and opportunities. For more than 40 years, NCLD has worked to create a society in which every individual possesses the academic, social, and emotional skills needed to succeed in school, at work, and in life.​
