Year Opened: 1972

B.F. Adam Elementary was named after a very successful businessman and community leader in the Cypress-Fairbanks area. Mr. Adams was born in Cypress, Texas, and lived most of his life within the boundaries of Cypress-Fairbanks ISD. He served 24 years on the board of education, and he and his wife, Irene, reared four sons who went through the Cypress-Fairbanks school system. Mr. Adam and his family were actively involved in the community.
