DLC will be open to ALL educators!  You do not need to register ahead of time.

⭐When does the event take place?

The event will take place from 8 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. CT on July 24-25, 2024. The sessions will be live-streamed on YouTube. You will see an informational video playing before each session. Please be patient. The sessions will begin at 8:00 AM each day and new sessions will begin on the hour.

⭐How do I access the DLC sessions? 

All sessions will be available on our DLC conference app.  You can access the conference app from this website under the Sessions. The app is viewable through your website browser on your computer or mobile device. You do not need to download an app.

⭐Why don’t I see all the sessions listed in the DLC conference app? 

You might have a filter applied that is hiding some sessions. Clear all filters to view the complete list of sessions.

⭐How can I earn PD credit for attending DLC? 

An attendance code will be given during each session.  Write the codes down and at the end of the day, submit your codes to the online attendance form.  The online attendance form for each day will open at 3 p.m. and will close at 11:59 p.m. on that day.

You can attend as many sessions as you would like.  You can receive up to 16 hours of PD credit.  PD credit is issued based on the submission of the attendance form each day.  

⭐When do I need to submit my attendance in order to receive PD credit?  

You must submit your attendance codes before midnight on the day of the session.

• • Sessions that were watched on July 24, 2024 need to be submitted by 11:59 p.m. CT on July 24, 2024.
  • Sessions that were watched on July 25, 2024 need to be submitted by 11:59 p.m. CT on July 25, 2024.

Credit will be issued only for sessions that were watched on the day of the event.  No exceptions will be made if forms are not submitted by the deadline. 

Replays are available for viewing after the event. However, PD credit will not be available.

⭐Can I only watch one session from each hour time slot?  

No, you can choose to watch any combination of sessions from the 8 different rooms each hour. You can pick and choose to watch the sessions you would like anytime before midnight on that day.  You may receive PD credit for a maximum of 8 hours each day.  You can watch more than 8 hours, but you will only be able to submit 8 attendance codes for 8 hours of PD credit each day. 

⭐Why can’t I interact with the YouTube chat? 

You will need to sign in to YouTube with a Google account to be able to add a comment/question in the chat. 

⭐When will PD credit be issued?  

PD credit will be issued by September 15, 2024.  Cypress-Fairbanks ISD employees will receive credit through CFPGS.

Out-of-district attendees will receive a certificate that they will submit to their district for PD hours. 

Remember you will only receive hours for the attendance codes that you have successfully submitted.  

⭐Will I be able to watch the DLC videos after the event?  

The archives of the DLC videos will be available for Cypress-Fairbanks ISD employees after the event. The archives will be found on the DLC website, but employees must be signed in to Google to be able to access the archives. No PD credit will be given for viewing the archives.
