Becoming a Substitutes with Cy-Fair ISD

Thank you for your interest in becoming a substitute with Cypress-Fairbanks ISD! Here at CFISD we are committed to hiring outstanding substitute applicants who meet our district standard. We accept applications throughout the year and encourage you to apply online.

All applicants must complete an online application for the position(s) that you wish to be considered for. Please be sure to review the qualifications of the position for which you will be applying before submitting your application.

STEP ONE - Apply Online
- Apply to become a substitute today and refer to our application process guide on how to apply: Start Application
STEP TWO – Monitor References
- ENTER at least one professional reference on the Reference Page of the application. The reference must be a supervisor reference from your current or most recent employer.
- MONITOR your references. References must be returned for your application to be considered. It is your responsibility to log-in and ensure references are completed.
STEP THREE - Monitor Email
- Applicants are reviewed daily by HR staff and only approved applicants will be sent an email with further instructions. Please log into your application regularly to check your status for updates.
