Tenth annual Superintendent’s Fun Run set for April 1

Jan. 31, 2023—Reaching its landmark 10th year, the annual Superintendent’s Fun Run is scheduled for April 1 from 8 to 11 a.m. at the Berry Center (8877 Barker Cypress Road) and Towne Lake community. Filled with exciting live entertainment, two course layouts for running or walking, kids’ activities and other family-friendly endeavors, the fun run is the largest outdoor fundraising event in the district and CFISD will celebrate 10 years of supporting students and staff.

See to Succeed clinic helps more than 800 students receive glasses

Jan. 20, 2023—CFISD continued offering free comprehensive eye exams and eyewear to students through the Houston Health Department’s See to Succeed program, which served 873 students from 58 campuses Jan. 9-12 at the Berry Center.

Bracket features top teams for 13th annual Cy-Hoops Invitational

Nov. 29, 2022—CFISD basketball coaches have released the finalized bracket for the 13th annual Houston Methodist Cy-Hoops Invitational, to be held Dec. 8-10 at three CFISD high schools and the Berry Center.

CFISD earns $34,500 in school supplies from Kroger supply drive

Sept. 7, 2022—Cypress-Fairbanks ISD earned $34,500 worth of school supplies through Kroger’s “Backpack Boosters” school supply drive in August. The total was enough to supply every Title 1 elementary campus with 5-6 boxes of supply kits.
