The mission of the Cypress-Fairbanks school library program is to ensure that students and staff are effective users of ideas and information, enabling them to be literate life-long learners.  To support this mission, the library staff has selected resources in multiple formats for school and home access by student, their parents, and teachers.

The library media program develops information skills that will allow students and staff to locate, access, interpret, evaluate, and communicate information. Library/information skills are  integrated into the full curriculum with emphasis on application to create a meaningful learning situation. These skills span the curriculum from kindergarten to 12th grade with continual expansion and reinforcement. To achieve this integration, school librarians and staff work together to enhance curriculum infusion. School librarians also provide a myriad of support services for both students and staff to reinforce the integration of information skills and  curriculum.
