Approximately 1,200 educators from across the state attended the 14th annual Rigor, Relevance and Relationships (RRR) Leadership Conference, June 5-7 at the Berry Center.

Megan Fernandez, assistant principal at Birkes ES, was named the principal of Birkes on June 10. Fernandez replaces Stacie Everson, who was named principal at Salyards MS.

Wells ES fifth grade student Vir Lagad placed 17th overall at the Scripps National Spelling Bee, held May 26 at the Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center in National Harbor, Maryland.

The 12 Cypress-Fairbanks ISD graduation ceremonies held at the Berry Center from May 28-June 1 produced a total of 8,873 graduating seniors for the Class of 2024.
