Soccer postseason begins for 12 CFISD teams

March 22, 2023—The District 16-6A and District 17-6A soccer seasons concluded March 10, with the top four boys’ and girls’ teams on each side qualifying for the UIL playoffs that begin March 23.

Cy Ranch girls place third; 7 CFISD wrestlers medal at state tournament

Feb. 22, 2023—The Cypress Ranch High School girls’ wrestling team placed third overall in Class 6A, while seven total CFISD participants to earn top-six medals at the UIL State Wrestling Championships, held Feb. 17-18 at the Berry Center.

34 CFISD wrestlers qualify for 2023 UIL state championships

Feb. 15, 2023—Thirty-four wrestlers from 11 CFISD high schools placed in the top four of their respective weight classes at the Region III-6A Wrestling Championships on Feb. 10-11 at the Merrell Center in Katy to qualify for the UIL Class 6A Wrestling State Tournament, scheduled for Feb. 17-18 at the Berry Center.

CFISD swimmers, divers qualify for state championships

Feb. 15, 2023—Twenty-one CFISD athletes in 22 total events qualified for the UIL Swimming and Diving Championships following the Region V-6A Championships, held Feb. 2-4 at the CFISD Natatorium.
