Cy Ranch girls place third; 7 CFISD wrestlers medal at state tournament

Feb. 22, 2023—The Cypress Ranch High School girls’ wrestling team placed third overall in Class 6A, while seven total CFISD participants to earn top-six medals at the UIL State Wrestling Championships, held Feb. 17-18 at the Berry Center.

34 CFISD wrestlers qualify for 2023 UIL state championships

Feb. 15, 2023—Thirty-four wrestlers from 11 CFISD high schools placed in the top four of their respective weight classes at the Region III-6A Wrestling Championships on Feb. 10-11 at the Merrell Center in Katy to qualify for the UIL Class 6A Wrestling State Tournament, scheduled for Feb. 17-18 at the Berry Center.

Livestock Show and Sale generates more than $760,000 for projects

Feb. 15, 2023—The 29th Annual CFISD Livestock Show Association Show and Sale, held Feb. 2-4 at the CFISD Exhibit Center, had a record-breaking year due to the incredible generosity from the CFISD community through the live auction, with no exhibits in the last third of the sale selling for less than $1,500. CFISD community members also came through by showing their support of our sales happening outside of the live auction.

College Knowledge Night draws record crowd to Berry Center

Feb. 9, 2023—CFISD’s office of advanced academics welcomed more than 3,800 visitors to its College Knowledge Night on Jan. 31 at the Berry Center.
