Lieder ES, Breakthrough Harvest Church establish Adopt-a-School partnership

They were joined by Dawn Tryon, CFISD director of community engagement, Lieder administration, and representatives from Breakthrough Harvest Church.

June 10, 2024—Representatives for Breakthrough Harvest Church visited the staff at Lieder Elementary School on June 3 to officially announce their Adopt-a-School partnership with the campus.  

CFISD’s Adopt-a-School program pairs schools with community organizations and business partners to utilize resources of the community to strengthen and enrich the quality of education for students.

Troy King, Pastor of Breakthrough Harvest Church, shared their excitement for adopting Lieder.

“We at Breakthrough Harvest Church are thrilled to announce our adoption of Lieder Elementary School,” King said. “This initiative has long been a part of our church’s vision to support local schools and meet the needs of not just the children but the broader community. Moving forward, we are confident that our partnership will inspire everyone at Lieder to never give up on their dreams and visions. We are eagerly looking forward to bringing positive change and love to Lieder Elementary.”

Dinah Mcmichael, Lieder principal, expressed her appreciation to Breakthrough Harvest Church for their ongoing support for the campus.

“As the lead learner in such an incredible community, I’m thrilled to lock arms with Breakthrough Harvest Church,” Mcmichael said. “They have already blessed our staff and students beyond measure through their generosity. Pastor Troy and his wife are truly a gift to the entire Lieder community. As we say at Lieder, we are always better together!”
