Dec. 12, 2023—Representatives from Heart of Houston Homes visited the staff at Keith Elementary School on Dec. 8 to officially announce its Adopt-a-School partnership with the campus.

CFISD’s Adopt-a-School program pairs schools with community organizations and business partners to utilize resources of the community to strengthen and enrich the quality of education for students.

Jenna Bradburn, team leader of Heart of Houston Homes, expressed that adopting Keith was a natural step due to the support she’s already given to the campus.

“Our mission at Heart of Houston Homes is to support and grow our community,” Bradburn said. “When our oldest daughter started at Keith five years ago, it seemed like a natural fit for Heart of Houston Homes to spread the love to the Keith staff. Since then, we’ve provided lunches and treats, a free ‘teacher supply store’ before school started, coffee trucks and even set up our own ‘flower show’ in the teacher’s lounge to create fresh bouquets for each staff member. The positive environment at Keith truly inspires us! Keith has some of the most hardworking educators who are passionate about growing the kids in our community. I can’t imagine not supporting Keith in this way!”

Julie Clements, Keith principal, shared her appreciation to Bradburn and Heart of Houston Homes for committing to help support the campus.

“We are incredibly thankful for the partnership with Jenna Bradburn of Heart of Houston Homes who has been such a wonderful supporter of Keith already,” Clements said. “Her remarkable support of our staff and students has been such a blessing. Jenna believes in the mission of Keith Elementary School and is committed to our success. I look forward to working alongside Jenna to benefit our Keith Cougars!”
