School Opened: 1986

The school is named for Wanda McCain Jowell, who was a long time area resident, a Cy-Fair High School graduate, and a Cypress-Fairbanks ISD School Board Member for twenty-one years. Mrs. Jowell was a professional educator who was dedicated to providing all children with the best education possible, thus providing them with the opportunity to become successful, contributing adults.
