Enjoy the week off, CFISD!
The CFISD Board of Trustees approved an amended version of the calendar committee’s recommendations for the 2024-2025 instructional calendar.
The CFPD Athletic League is March 11-14. Registration is now open. The league is open for middle school-aged students to play safely and learn lifelong skills.
Tamera Felder, of Hancock ES, and Stacia Carew, of Rowe MS, were selected as the Elementary and Secondary district representatives for the 2023-2024 Region 4 Principal of the Year award, respectively.
Goodson MS sixth grade student Ashish Belani won first place in the annual CFISD Middle School Spelling Bee, held Feb. 13 at the Berry Center.
The 30th Annual CFISD Livestock Show Association Show and Sale, saw an incredible amount of generosity from the CFISD community, generating more than $680,000.
LIFE Skills teachers Kaitlyn Calvin, of Rennell ES, and Makenzie Kellgren, of Spillane MS, were selected as CFISD’s teachers of the year and will represent the district at regional and statewide competitions for top teaching honors.
Representatives from Open Door Pediatric Therapy visited the staff at Owens ES on Feb. 19 to officially announce their Adopt-a-School partnership with the campus.
