Cypress Woods High School senior Ethan Farris was voted the District 16-6A Most Valuable Player by league coaches.
June 23, 2023—District 16-6A baseball coaches recently released the 2023 All-District 16-6A Baseball Team following the conclusion of each team’s season in the UIL playoffs.
Cypress Woods High School earned three superlatives, as senior Ethan Farris was voted unanimously as the district’s Most Valuable Player and fellow senior Mason Green was unanimously named Pitcher of the Year.
Cypress Woods High School senior Mason Green was unanimously named the District 16-6A Pitcher of the Year.
Bridgeland High School sophomore Austin Glasscock and Cypress Park High School freshman Brandon Orellana were voted co-Newcomers of the Year.
Cypress Woods Head Coach Philip Schwarz was named Coach of the Year.
Cypress Park High School freshman Brandon Orellana was named the District 16-6A co-Newcomer of the Year alongside Bridgeland High School sophomore Austin Glasscock.
