Their three children are all high school graduates: Kelly, Langham Creek High School Class of 2006; Keith, home school Class of 2016; and Clay, Cypress Falls High School Class of 2018.

A self-employed realtor, Mrs. Kalmbach was raised in the CFISD community, attending Arnold Middle School and graduating from Cy-Fair High School. Her past district involvement includes volunteering at Metcalf, Fiest, Lowery and Holmsley elementary schools; as well as Aragon Middle School and Langham Creek and Cypress Falls high schools. In addition to her volunteer duties in CFISD, Mrs. Kalmbach has served more than 16 years as a Cy-Fair/Copperfield Women’s Club chair, three years as a Matt Musil Hoops for Kids Board Member, six years as a Boy Scouts of America committee chair, 12 years as a Bear Creek United Methodist youth and children’s counselor and Sunday school teacher and five years as a Moms in Prayer/Moms in Touch International member.

She has volunteered at Houston’s First Baptist Church for more than eight years, and serves as secretary of the Hearthstone Garden Club. She worked as a volunteer phone consultant for the H3Helpline for more than five years and was election judge and precinct chair for the Harris County Republican Party for more than 12 years.
