Cypress-Fairbanks ISD will host the District 17, 6A UIL One-Act Play Contest on Wednesday March 20, 2024 at the new CFISD Visual and Performing Arts Center.  District 17 consists of four campuses from Cypress-Fairbanks ISD and four campuses from Spring Branch ISD.   UIL One-Act Play is the is the largest high school play production contest or play festival in the world.  Schools present a play up to 40 minutes in length which is adjudicated by a panel of three certified judges.  The contest is open to the public. The top three ranked plays will advance to the Bi-District 17/18, 6A contest to be held March 23 at Bellaire High School.  Details for the District 17, 6A Contest are as follows:
